T O P I C R E V I E WNAAmodel#240This cover recently sold on eBay.According to Ross Smith's excellent Recovery Ship Cover website there should be no Challenger covers from the USS Simpson. Thoughts?RossDavid, my website actually does show a cover from the USS Simpson on the second page. It also mentions the ship on the first page. This cover appears to be genuine. In fact I bid on it.flyboycn2007David and Ross, thank you for sharing the cover. Refer to the relevant data, the aircraft carrier Simpson did participate in the Challenger shuttle the wreckage of the fishing, you can refer to this link, clearly recorded in the page: in January 1986, Simpson attended the Challenger shuttle rescue work, the "O" action to get the US Coast Guard unit. Now the question is about the specific salvage process of the USS Simpson is unclear. How many times did it participate in the salvage, and which times? So far we have seen February 11th and March 22nd. Are there any other dates?
